Alan Wasserman concentrates his practice in environmental law and regulation. His practice includes the redevelopment of contaminated sites, environmental remediation, air pollution control, underground storage tanks, water pollution control and environmental concerns related to corporate and real estate transactions. He has represented clients in toxic tort litigation and has prepared and analyzed toxicological issues associated with chemicals in connection with litigation and proposed regulatory standards.

Mr. Wasserman actively participates in environmental legislative and regulatory initiatives. He has served on the Part 201 Advisory Committee, a statewide stakeholder group that reviewed and develops policies and rules on Michigan’s environmental remediation programs. He is currently serving on both ad hoc and formal committees convened by DEQ to review and make reforms to the Part 201 program.
